Well... here it is. The new home of Ironhorse Motorsports, the merch we sell and the competitions we run! You better bloody enjoy it because this was a pain in the arse to make, but totally worth it for a better experience for all.
With the ever growing merch store and demand increasing for our tees and hoodies, I was unable to keep up with orders whilst also running everything else "Ironhorse" so I had a decision to make - order cheap shirts pre-printed from overseas or continue using the high quality, 100% Australian Cotton blanks and find someone local who can keep up with the demand. The choice was obvious...
During the R&D for the T-Shirts, I personally sampled over 50 blank t-shirt manufacturers from all over the world until I found "the one". A 100% Australian Cotton tee from an Australian Owned business that fits perfect and feels great under or over anything. It was so important to me that when someone slipped on an Ironhorse tee, not only did they feel part of the brand, but could also tell the quality of the products - you lot just deserve the best...
Now onto the printing. As I mentioned before, I couldn't keep up with the demand of printing, packing, emails, returns, post office runs etc all on my own - and the easiest part to outsource (and the most time consuming) is the printing. I'm super stoked to have found a local business ran from a very impressive "factory" at home who follow my same expectations of quality and detail and are very much a part of the scene! To run things seamlessly, this meant switching over to a Shopify based store and that's why you're now here!
There are a few other benefits to the switch, including lower fee's (meaning more funds for Free Shxt Thursday and other community incentives), better load times and smoother operation. It's been a bit of a challenge to swap having just got the hang of the last platform after 2 years using it... but I seem to be getting the hang of it and doing it myself has saved roughly $10,000 (according to a friend who works in the industry).
Another new additions is our Merch 4 Change range where you can buy Ironhorse Motorsports T-shirts supporting your favourite charity with 100% of proceeds from the sale of these item's going to the charity it's in support of! So make sure you check that our and show your support!
It's also not long now till the giveaways re-launch... it's going to be absolutely epic! I can't wait to reveal what I've been working on for you guys. The comps are going to be jam packed with value because they will be super low entry cap (our lowest yet and a lot lower than other comps around) and will also feature a 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize as well as 10 runner up prizes. 100% of the proceeds will go to a charity, a young rider in the race scene, subsidised rider courses for the community and back into Ironhorse Motorsports for future comps with the aim of always getting bigger and better - raising more funds and making more of an impact on the community together!
